Full Description

A possible ploughed-out round barrow was recorded by the Ordnance Survey in 1954. Described as an egg-shaped chalk mark with indications of a ditch to the south, it measured 22 metres by 15.5 metres, with the broader end to the east. It is not clear if it was identified from the air or on the ground. It is not mentioned by either RCHME or Grinsell in their various barrow lists. Now levelled, it is not recommended for scheduling, although still visible on Aps of 1997. <1>
