Full Description

A probable Bronze Age bowl barrow, part of a group on Crichel and Launceston Downs excavated in 1938. The barrow is no longer extant as an earthwork. When excavated, the site comprised a low circular mound 15 feet in diameter. A feature described as an "irregular hole" was found near the centre. It is not clear if this refers to a pit beneath the mound or an earlier excavation into the surface of the mound. No artefacts or burials were found.

Visited by MPPA in March 2000, but since all are heavily denuded, not recommended for scheduling.
