Monument record MDO5794 - Bronze Age round barrow, Horton Inn, Horton

The site of a Bronze Age round barrow, is visible as a cropmark ring-ditch on aerial photographs to the northwest of Horton Inn, Horton. The ring ditch is 37m across and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Two further ring ditches visible on air photographs at 'B' - SU 01600872 and 'C' - SU 01670870 which may be ploughed down barrows. <1>

No traces of barrows `B' or `C'. <2>

No obvious trace of the barrows `A', `B', or `C', seen in 2001, and not recommended for scheduling. Ground photos with archive reports. <4>
