Monument record MDO5793 - Bronze Age round barrow, Horton Inn, Horton

The site of a Bronze Age round barrow, is visible as a cropmark ring-ditch on aerial photographs to the west of Horton Inn, Horton. The ring ditch is 17m across and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

No obvious trace of the barrows `A', `B', or `C', seen in 2001, and not recommended for scheduling. Ground photos with archive reports. <3>

A spread of chalk marks the site of this barrow in a field newly ploughed when visited. Lies immediately SW of a road and fence.
