Summary

The site of a Bronze Age round barrow, is visible as a cropmark ring-ditch on aerial photographs to the west of Horton Inn, Horton. The ring ditch is 17m across and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description

'A'.SU 016086. Cropmark of ring-ditch visible on aerial photograph taken by John Boyden in 1972. Barrow A is situated at SU01550864. A spread of chalk marks the site in a field newly ploughed when visited. <1>

No obvious trace of the barrows `A', `B', or `C', seen in 2001, and not recommended for scheduling. Ground photos with archive reports. <3>
