Full Description

'Langmoor, Ferndown. A watching brief was carried out in September 1992 during groundworks associated with residential development (SU 083 011). A Mesolithic tranchet axe had been previously found within the development area and a possible Bronze Age barrow may lie north-east of the site. No archaeological features were observed during the watching brief but a few unstratified struck flints were recovered… ' {1}
