Full Description
'(2) Chapel (06649856), Congregational, with brick walls and a slate-covered roof, was built in 1841. The pedimented S. front is symmetrical, of three bays and two storeys (Plate 50). A tablet in the pediment bears the date 1841. Above, an octagonal clock turret is surmounte by a colonnaded bell-cote and a spire. Th E. and W. elevations are of five bays with round-headed windows. The gabled N. elevation is masked by a later building.' <1>
