Summary

Possible site of two round barrows. On his map of the "Roman station of Vindocladia", Colt Hoare appears to depict two circular mounds at circa ST 9880 1423. Neither feature is described in the accompanying text. Ordnance Survey field investigation in 1954 could find no surface trace. RCHME make no mention of these features in either the Dorset or Bokerley Dyke inventories.

ST 9880 1423] Two mounds apparently tumuli shown on map close together. <3>

The area is under grass. No trace of a barrow was found. <4>
