Seven trenches were dug, and two revealed evidence of human activity in the form of five sub-circular pits, one of which contained a late Neolithic flint assemblage. This pit measured 0.9 x 0.9m in plan, 0.48m deep and was steep sided. It contained 1 broken flint core, 56 flakes, two of which were retouched and 2 flake scrapers.
