Full Description

Several rich Mesolithic sites have been located in the Corfe Mullen area by Mr J Stonborough, a local resident.

Corfe Mullen general. Four picks, three scrapers, two gravers and two other flints are now in the British Museum; one axe is in Christchurch Museum; five blades or flakes are in Poole Museum.

SY 982981. Draglens North. About 87 cores, about 107 blades or flakes, 18 scrapers, 20 microliths and 114 other flints, in the Stonborough Collection. <1-3>
