Full Description

(Area centred SY 992951) Stone celt found near Roman Road 3/4 - 1 mile south-west of Broadstone. Stake Pass Group VI. In Dorchester Museum (No. 1937.60). <1-2>

Local enquiries produced no information about this axe; the siting given by authority 1 is accepted. The axe was found or acquired by the late W.G. Wallace and is in his collection at Dorchester. <3>
