Full Description
(SZ 02469984) Flint Pick found about 1948. <1>
This site is in one of the gardens of a pair of houses approximately six years old. Mrs. Seargent, one of the occupiers, knows nothing of this find nor of any subsequent ones. The occupiers of the other house could not be contacted. The soil in these gardens abounds with flints but no worked ones were observed. The whereabouts of the pick was not ascertained. <2>
