A surface scatter of medieval pottery scatter to west of Black Barn Farm, recorded by Birmingham University Field Archaeology Unit during an archaeological Assessment in 1990. This may indicate an earlier settlement on the site of the farm.

Full Description

A discrete medieval pottery scatter was discovered by fieldwalking by Birmingham University Field Archaeology Unit in 1990, in the field immediately west of Black Barn Farm. This may indicate the former presence of a medieval farm or hamlet. (1) (2)
