Summary

A Bronze Age round barrow lies on almost flat land in the Allen Valley. It appears as a ring ditch 28m across with traces of an inner mound on aerial photographs and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description

Air photographs taken April 15th 2002 show additional circular and linear cropmarks in the vicinity. However, the field has seen use as a pig farm and the area is also covered in crop and soilmarks relating to this phase of use. <2>

The Bronze Age round barrows appears as a ring ditch 28m across with traces of an inner mound on aerial photographs <3-4> and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
