Summary

Verwood type pottery sherds, including wasters, of eighteenth and nineteenth century date were found during an archaeological evaluation by Southern Archaeological Services in 1994.

Full Description

The wasters indicate a possible kiln site, part of the Verwood potteries, operating within the immediate locality. No insitu kiln structures or associated features were noted. <1> <2>
