'Visible as a low rise within coniferous woodland. The trees have a trunk diameter of 10-20cm and are planted in rows on the tops of ridges. These forestry-cultivation ridges and furrows have severely mutilated the mound, distance between ridge top and furrow bottom 30cm. Tree-lines aligned SE-NW. Slight dips in the ground surface to SE and NE of the mound may indicate the remains of the ditch metnntioned by Swatridge (1954).'
