Summary

A bowl barrow situated to the west of Houghton Down Clump. In 1970 this monument was reported as being around 75 feet in diameter with a mound about 2½ feet high. The barrow is visible as a low earthwork mound on lidar imagery and was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

Full Description

A bowl barrow situated to the west of Houghton Down Clump. In 1970 this monument was reported as being around 75 feet in diameter with a mound about 2½ feet high. The barrow is visible as a low earthwork mound on lidar imagery and was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project. (EA 2023)
