Summary

Bowl barrow. Diameter 28ft., height 2ft. A hole has, at some point in the past, been dug in the centre of the monument. The record for this monument has been enhanced with support from Wessex Water. The barrow is faintly visible as a sub-circular banked earthwork on 1940s aerial photographs and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM Project.

Full Description

Bowl barrow. Diameter 28ft., height 2ft. A hole has, at some point in the past, been dug in the centre of the monument.
The record for this monument has been enhanced with support from Wessex Water.

The barrow is faintly visible as a sub-circular banked mound just over 6m in diameter on 1940s aerial photographs <4>. It is located just beyond the southern corner of a long barrow (MDO5135) and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM Project.
