Monument record MDO51328 - 19th century dairy, Three Gates Farm, Hilfield

Historic farm buildings at Three Gates Farm, Hilfield, are shown on the OS Epoch 1 6" to the mile map published in 1888. Visible on aerial photographs of 1947 and 1972, still extant on satellite imagery. The modern map refers to the site as Dairy Cottages, suggesting they are part of a former dairy; they were not residential as of 2023 (GE street view) but Google earth imagery of 2025 shows them being converted. A group of historic buildings in front of these on the roadside are now demolished.
