Monument record MDO51316 - Historic trackway, possible drove road, Leigh

A historic track to the southeast of Bound Lane farm, Leigh, is shown on the OS Epoch 1 6" to the mile map published in 1888, visible as a field track hedged on both sides on aerial photographs of 1947 and 1972 and satellite imagery and as an earthwork on current lidar imagery. The track might be linked to a nearby network of drove ways of potentially medieval origin, having the same form, possibly once linking with Daggles Drove to the southeast, as it shares the same name on modern maps.
