Full Description
The course of a former mill leat associated with Chetnole Mill is depicted on the OS Epoch 1 6" to the mile map, published in 1888. The leat is still visible as extant and running up to and below the mill building on a 1947 aerial photograph. The southern section of the leat remains extant, and is visible as an earthwork in LiDAR imagery, below an area of trees visible in 2025 Google Earth imagery. The northern section has been filled in and built over (OS 1888; RAF 1947; EA 2022; GE 2025).
