A pronounced area of medieval ridge and furrow to the east of Yetminster is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery. The ridge and furrow might be associated with part of a former strip field system, indicated by the narrow linear field plots shown on the OS Epoch 1 6" to the mile map (EA 2022; OS 1887).
