Full Description

A system of post medieval field boundaries are visible in LiDAR imagery and aerial photographs, and recent satellite imagery. The boundaries are not depicted on the c. 1880 OS map, and pre-date the railway. Centred at ST 5797 1413 is an area of smaller polygonal enclosures, east-west aligned ridge and furrow, and possibly also a ring ditch, possibly indicating the presence of a deserted medieval or post medieval settlement. <1-5>
