Summary
Linear banks in a narrow shallow valley to the northwest of Bedmill Farm, Castleton, are visible as earthworks on 2022 lidar imagery. The features are probably field boundaries of potentially later prehistoric origin. Towards their western end the features appear to be truncated by a later boundary suggested to be a Saxon dyke or boundary feature (MDO44395).

Linear banks in a narrow shallow valley to the northwest of Bedmill Farm, Castleton, are visible as earthworks on 2022 lidar imagery. The features are probably field boundaries of potentially later prehistoric origin. Towards their western end the features appear to be truncated by a later boundary suggested to be a Saxon dyke or boundary feature (MDO44395) (EA 2022)
