Full Description
At least two curvilinear banked boundaries are visible as earthworks to the west of Sherborne on lidar and satellite imagery. The features run counter to the historic field pattern and are potentially part of a medieval field system, similar to that on the north side of the road (MDO50987)(EA 2022; GE 2025).
Google Earth, 16-04-2025, Google Earth Imagery 2025 (Aerial Photograph). SDO21533.
