Full Description
An oval mound is visible as a low earthwork on Coneygore Hill to the northwest of Higher Sandford, Sandford Orcas, on Google Earth and lidar imagery. The origin of the mound is unknown, but given the name Coneygore, could possibly be a medieval pillow mound. (EA 2022; GE 2014).
