Monument record MDO50937 - Medieval or earlier lynchet, trackway, Coneygore Hill, Sandford Orcas

A strong curvilinear lynchet is visible as an earthwork on Coneygore Hill to the northwest of Higher Sandford, Sandford Orcas, on Google Earth and lidar imagery. The feature runs broadly east to west along the break of slope and potentially continues westwards through a field on the west side of the stream. It is cut by a post medieval trackway and is likely to be of medieval or earlier date, perhaps an agricultural lynchet or part of a trackway.
