Full Description

A ring ditch identified on aerial photograph by Bowden RCHME (1991) Tarrant Launceston a53. Diameter of 14 metres and identified as being part of the Launceston Down North Group (RCHM 1972, 107).

There appears to have been some confusion over the grid reference as the aerial photographs cited actually show the round barrows recorded as ST 91 SE 7, 57, 100 and 191. Alternatively, since the area was extensively examined by the Piggotts in 1938, it must have been ploughed out by then. Not visible on the ground and not recommended for scheduling.
