Summary
An area of probable medieval strip field is visible as a combination of earthworks and extant field boundaries on 2022 composite DTM lidar imagery and a 1948 aerial photograph. The OS Epoch 2 25 inch to the mile map surveyed c1900 shows more historic field boundaries surviving, creating narrow linear plots, some of which appear to be used for orchards.

Full Description
An area of probable medieval strip field is visible as a combination of earthworks and extant field boundaries on 2022 composite DTM lidar imagery and a 1948 aerial photograph (RAF 1948; OS 2022). The OS Epoch 2 25 inch to the mile map surveyed c1900 shows more historic field boundaries surviving, creating narrow linear plots, some of which appear to be used for orchards (OS 1900).
