An area of rectilinear banked earthworks to the east of Pinford Manor, Sherborne, are visible on 2022 composite DTM lidar imagery (EA 2022). The features have the form of a possible area of deserted medieval settlement east of the manor, comprising small rectilinear enclosures that might be tofts and crofts.
