Full Description

An area of possible medieval ridge and furrow is visible as very low earthworks within school playing fields on the west side of Sherborne on 2022 composite DTM lidar imagery (EA 2022). Current Google Earth imagery shows the fields to be the site of grassy sports pitches and no longer under any cultivation but low state of earthworks suggests survival might be relatively poor.
