Summary
Part of a medieval field system on the south side of Over Compton is visible as earthworks on 2022 composite DTM lidar imagery and 2018 Google Earth imagery. The features comprise former field boundaries and strip field boundaries, and possibly areas of surviving ridge and furrow, although the earthworks are very slight and survival and condition may be poor.

Part of a medieval field system on the south side of Over Compton is visible as earthworks on 2022 composite DTM lidar imagery and 2018 Google Earth imagery (EA 2022; GE 2018). The features comprise former field boundaries and strip field boundaries, and possibly areas of surviving ridge and furrow, although the earthworks are very slight and survival and condition may be poor.
