A historic pond to the southeast of Over Compton Corn Mill is visible as an earthwork on 2022 composite DTM lidar and 2024 Google Earth satellite imagery. The feature is shown with a spring point to its east on the OS 1: 25 inch Epoch 1 map, published in 1887, and could be medieval to post-medieval in origin.

Full Description
A historic pond to the southeast of Over Compton Corn Mill is visible as an earthwork on 2022 composite DTM lidar and 2024 Google Earth satellite imagery (EA 2022; GE 2024). The feature is shown on the OS 1: 25 inch Epoch 1 map, published in 1887, with a spring point to the east of it, and could be medieval to post-medieval in origin (OS 1887).
