Summary

A probable Bronze Age bowl barrow, additional to those initially recorded as the Hyde Hill Plantation cemetery group. The site comprises a circular mound, 18m in diameter, which is visible as a slight earthwork on aerial photographs taken in 1988, once the woodland had been removed.

Full Description

A probable Bronze Age bowl barrow, additional to those initially recorded as the Hyde Hill Plantation cemetery group (see ST 91 SE 61 / UID: 210105). The site is centred at ST 9509 1045 and comprises a circular mound which is visible as a slight earthwork on aerial photographs taken in 1988, once the woodland had been removed. The barrow mound measures 18m in diameter. <1>

Other round barrows in the cemetery are recorded as ST 91 SE 193 to 204, 233, 234, 236 and ST 91 SW 116 & 117.
