Summary

A limestone surfaced trackway dating from the Roman period. It was recorded as 6.4 metres wide. The limestone surfacing was at least 0.3 metres deep and contains gravel within the centre of the track and large stone blocks running along the edge. There were a few shards of Romano-British pottery recoverd from the surface of the trackway. A dump of limpet shells made up the linear depression along the southern edge of the track.
