Please read our .

Summary

Two ditches recorded by Context One in 2015 during evaluation of a site proposed for development. Ditch [203] was a steep-sided, flat-bottomed feature with an end within the excavation trench, and was cut by Ditch [205] on the same east-west alignment. The earlier feature produced no dating evidence, but the filling of [205] contained Middle to Late Iron Age pottery and flint of later Bronze Age or Iron Age date. Both features are thought likely ot date to the later prehistoric period, and represent two phases of use.
