A bowl barrow recorded as being about 30 feet in diameter and much reduced in height, but still visible as a cropmark ring ditch on air photographs.

Full Description

A bowl barrow about 30ft in diameter, situated at ST 9582 1132, has been levelled by ploughing but is visible as a ring-ditch soil mark on the northward-facing slope of a dry combe which falls E to the Crichel brook. The dyke (ST 91 SW 40) skirts the barrow on the S. <1>

Levelled by ploughing prior to 1972, and not even visible as a cropmark. Not recommended for scheduling.

'(45) Bowl (95821132), now levelled by ploughing, but visible as a ring-ditch soil-mark, lies at 230 ft. above O.D. on the northward-facing slope of a dry combe which falls E. to the Crichel brook. The first Dyke noted above (16) skirts it to the S. Diam. about 30 ft.'
