Summary

A ditch excavated by MOLA during an archaeological evaluation in 2023 of a site proposed for a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). Ditch [4904] had moderately sloping sides and a slight concave base, with a single filling. Two pieces of worked flint and some pottery fragments were recovered from the filling, and dated to the Early Bronze Age.
