Full Description
Two areas of possible medieval ridge and furrow cultivation and a possible medieval field boundary are visible as banked earthworks to the east of Mount Pleasant Farm on 1940s aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery (RAF 1945; RAF 1947; EA 2018). The features were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
Several areas of ridged cultivation marks are visible as earthworks to the west of Marsh Farm on 1940s aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery. The features are considered to be areas of medieval or later ridge and furrow and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
