Full Description
Linear banked features and areas of ridge and furrow cultivation are visible as earthworks at Mount Pleasant Farm on 1940s aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery (RAF 1945; RAF 1947; EA 2018). The features comprise banked field boundaries, some of which might have been part of medieval strip fields, alongside areas of possible medieval ridge and furrow cultivation. The features were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
