Full Description
Part of a later prehistoric field system in Twitchings Copse and extending onto Bulbarrow Hill is visible as curvilinear banked and ditched earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery (RAF 1945; EA 2018). The features are of possible Iron Age to Roman date and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
