Full Description
Parallel ditched and banked features are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery running across fields to the north west of White Hill, Stoke Wake. They are considered to be the remains of a medieval strip field system with associated ridge and furrow cultivation, although some of the features may be of later origin. The features cover an area of over 4.5 ha and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
