Full Description
Areas of probable medieval ridge and furrow as well as several banked and ditched linear field boundaries are visible as earthworks to the north of Woolland on 1940s aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery (RAF 1945; RAF 1947; EA 2018). The features are considered to be part of a predominantly medieval field system, although some later field boundaries might also be present. They were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
