Monument record MDO50592 - Medieval and later field system, Chitcombe, Ibberton

Banked linear features are visible as earthworks to the northwest of the deserted medieval settlement of Chitcombe on 1940s aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery. The features are considered to be part of a medieval field system, incorporating areas of medieval strip field, although some later field boundaries might also be present. They were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
