Full Description
Banked linear features are visible as earthworks to the southwest of Belchalwell Street, Okeford Fitzpaine, on 1940s aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery (RAF 1947; EA 2018). The features are considered to be part of a medieval field system, incorporating fragments of medieval strip field and ridge and furrow of medieval origin. They were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
