Summary

The remains of a post medieval drainage system are visible as low earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery in two fields to the east of Thickthorn Lane, Droop. The complex of drainage ditches covers an area of 7ha and was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project, it overlies the field boundary described in MDO50582.

The remains of a post medieval drainage system are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery in two fields to the east of Thickthorn Lane, Droop. The complex of drainage ditches covers an area of 7ha and was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project, it overlies the field boundary described in MDO50582.
