Please read our .

Summary

Part of a banked and ditched field system on the north side of Bulbarrow Hill, Woolland, is visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs and current Environment Agency lidar imagery. The field system is probably of later prehistoric, possibly Iron Age to Roman, origin but could have later elements; possible trackways within some of the boundary features might be medieval to post medieval date, although they could also be earlier. The features were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
