Parallel banked features are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery running parallel with the contours of the west facing slopes above Hewish Farm, Milton Abbas. The features are considered likely to be the remains of medieval strip lynchets; they were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

Parallel banked features are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery running parallel with the contours of the west facing slopes above Hewish Farm, Milton Abbas. The features are considered likely to be the remains of medieval strip lynchets; they were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
