Summary

Several linear features are visible as cropmarks and soilmarks on aerial photographs and earthworks on lidar imagery on the west facing slopes to the north of Hewish Farm, Milton Abbas. The features are of uncertain date, some are potentially of natural origin whilst others may be of medieval or post medieval date although a later prehistoric origin is possible. The features cover an area of 12 ha; they were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

Several linear features are visible as cropmarks and soilmarks on aerial photographs and earthworks on lidar imagery on the west facing slopes to the north of Hewish Farm, Milton Abbas. The features are of uncertain date, some are potentially of natural origin whilst others may be of medieval or post medieval date although a later prehistoric origin is possible. The features cover an area of 12 ha; they were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
