Full Description
A ditched feature is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery under trees on the south facing slope above the school, Milton Abbas. The feature appears to form part of a rectilinear enclosure, it may alternative be the result of chalk extraction. It lies to the east of the prehistoric field system described in MDO43618 and may be contemporary with it, or be of much later post medieval origin. The feature was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM Project.
