Summary

A circular banked feature with a flanking ditch is visible as an earthwork within Delcombe Wood, Milton Abbas, on current Environment Agency lidar imagery. The central mound measures approximately 11m in diameter, with the outer ditch around 2.5m wide. The feature could potentially be a Bronze Age round barrow and was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

A circular banked feature with a flanking ditch is visible as an earthwork within Delcombe Wood, Milton Abbas, on current Environment Agency lidar imagery (EA 2018). The central mound measures approximately 11m in diameter, with the outer ditch around 2.5m wide. The feature could potentially be a Bronze Age round barrow and was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
